The Checkmate Beanie is a bulky crochet beanie in one of my absolute favorite patterns – a checkered pattern 🙂 Made with bulky yarn and a fun pattern, it only takes a skein or 2 and a couple hours 🙂
Level: Intermediate (but beginners should totally try it, I’m only listing it as Intermediate because you have to learn how to switch colors! The crochet stitches are basic)
Materials:
2 skeins of bulky yarn (1 in each color)
7mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Measuring tape
